“Getting Closer to the Pin with Vin!”

My name is Vince Cannarozzi. I am The 1st Assistant Golf Professional from Manasquan River golf club. I grew up in Jefferson Township NJ, went to Jefferson Township High school and then went to Coastal Carolina University in which I was enrolled in the Professional Golf Management Program, where I served as the President for 2 years. I have now been at Manasquan River Golf Club as an Assistant Professional for 3 years now. I fell in love with the game when I was in 6th grade and ever since then I took my baseball swing and transformed it into a golf swing.  One of my favorite things about the game is helping people enjoy golf by teaching them correct grip stance posture and swing mechanics in order to create a more consistent ball flight. The golf swing is based of synergy of the upper and lower body. Synergy in the golf swing is important because it is two things the interaction or cooperation of two or more organizations, substances, or other agents to produce a combined effect greater than the sum of their separate effects. Getting the upper and lower body to work in synergy will lead to more consistent ball striking as well as create more distance with your golf shots.  The lower and upper body have different effects in the golf swing which affects club head rotation and swing path. The main goal I like to achieve with my students is having them realize why a shot is hit and why it goes the way the it does. A lot of it is based of swing path and where the club face is aimed at impact. If you are looking to enjoy the game more as well as understand the game better, this is the place to do it!
