Golf was always in my family, but I didn’t start playing until the age of 13. From there, the game and the golf business have been the only thing I’ve known. I played golf in high school and then went on to attend Methodist University where I studied Professional Golf Management. I’ve been fortunate to work at some extremely prestigious clubs including Somerset Hills Country Club, The Philadelphia Cricket Club and now in my current position as an Assistant Professional at Spring Lake Golf Club. My passion to both teach and club-fit has given me the opportunity to teach all types of golfers, both young and old. My philosophy on teaching has always been that there is no one size fits all golf swing and that the key to improvement is simple and understandable instruction. Bobby Jones said it best when he said, “you swing your best when you have the fewest things to think about.” I’m an expert in Trackman technology which gives us the ability to actively show a student what they’re doing and how we can go about improving. Most golfers are visual learners and having the ability to see yourself in motion while also seeing your swing stats significantly speeds up the learning curve. Golf is an amazing game and there is no better feeling than seeing your students succeed, get better and reach their goals.
